Chapter 5
Pencils Ready ...
You make your accusations
You live your life in fear
Judging Others
And yet hiding from your true self
You do not trust
You live your life in fear
Yet never once have you considered
You are not the one to trust
Your friendships will all be broken
No fault of yours you say
Yet those who know you grow tired
Of those who are yet blind
The cycle will continue
Until you learn to see
Your fear will frighten them away
Those who choose to see
You are transparent as a pane of glass
You’re not as hidden as you believe
And for those who care to see
Pity is yours for free
You make yourself the victim
You make it your career
And for those who once were you
We pity you the more
Drama is your game
Sympathy your drug
You cannot see your own addiction
Yet you give it all you are
Your world is full of lies
The ones you make yourself
But it’s easier to blame
Those who would have helped
So in the future
Think on what might have been
When even those most loyal
Have left you far behind
Remember what you could have had
And what you threw away
Remember that you had a choice
But were too afraid to choose
Now ... where was I?
